Family session Investment and Experience
Thank you so much for considering me as your photographer! I would be honored to photograph your family and capture sweet memories! Read below for session information:
STEP ONE: SCHEDULE YOUR SESSION

- In order to reserve a date, I do require the session fee of $200 to be paid. This includes photographer’s time, preparation session, sneak peek editing. Prints and digital products are purchased after the session. This allows you the opportunity to view your images and select what best suits your family. These packages are separate from your session fee. See below for packages.
- I try to always book beach sessions the hour before sunset for the best lighting. Weekend days are limited and popular, so if you need weekend day, please reach out early. Many clients find that scheduling early in the morning or after work, gives them plenty of time for a session during light hours (except during Winter months).
- I am always willing to reschedule or change the time of your session depending on weather. Stormy, cloudy sessions are always beautiful but I understand not wanting a session in a rainstorm.
STEP 2: THE SESSION
Once booked I will provide a link for what to expect and to help you prepare plus a style guide. This guide typically answers 90% of the questions that come up, but I am always happy to set up a time to chat if you want any additional help.
A few days before our session, I will reach out to confirm our time and location. At this point, if the forecast is questionable or someone gets sick, we can talk about rescheduling. Also, this is the perfect time for any last minute questions.
STEP 3: THE FUN PART!
Within a few weeks of your session, you will receive an email from me letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you’ve had chance to look over your images, you’ll let me know which collection you want to purchase. After, you’ll have 1 month to select the specific digitals you want and print items you want to use to fill that collection. The store only offers the highest quality prints and products , coming from a professional lab.

PRINT CREDIT:
What you’re going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you’re planning for a photo session, but it’s all too often the aspect that’s overlooked… all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. You’ll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album, so I include a print credit with every collection. Everything that I offer in my store is printed in professional labs and guaranteed to be beautiful. I also recognize that you may want to print your images yourself, and thanks to those digital files, you absolutely can!
