How often do you really get photos of your entire family together? Getting to have a professional photo session with your parents, your children, you siblings, and other family members may be one of the best memories you can make. I can always tell who the funny “grown up” is, the grandkid who makes everyone laugh, and why everyone loves grandma.. There is just so much dynamic to these photos and the sessions are always a blast! This is why I am going to tell you 4 good reasons to do an extended family session this year.
1- THE GRANDPARENTS (YOUR PARENTS)
I absolutely LOVE watching my parents play with my son. To see them act like kids again and watch that special bond. These are some of my favorite photos to capture. Some of the people we love most in a photo together will surely put a smile on your face every time you look at it. Plus how often do your parents get photos taken of themselves together? Maybe not since the last wedding they were in or special occasion.
2. THE COUSIN BOND
Yes the sibling bond is absolutely adorable and special.. But the cousin bond is another level. Not only are these sweet and adorable, but they are FUN!
3. PHOTOS WITH YOUR SIBLINGS AND/OR IN-LAWS
Growing up you probably have hundreds (or more) of photos with your siblings. As adults, not so many. These sessions give you a chance to get photos with them that are fun and memorable.
4. THESE PHOTOS MAKE THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFTS
Every year, I go home in the fall and make sure to get these extended family photos. One reason is these are the only gifts my family wants.. My aunts, uncles, cousins, brother, parents, grandma… All of them.
